About Kalcify

Kalcify is operated by an independent sole proprietor based in Lviv, Ukraine. Editorial direction, calculator logic and user-facing copy are all maintained directly by the operator — there is no outsourced editorial team and no anonymous author pool standing behind the brand.

The web is full of calculator sites that gate basic utilities behind sign-ups, bury the answer under intrusive ads, or quietly produce wrong results because nobody maintains the rates. Kalcify is the alternative: every tool is designed to give an accurate answer in seconds, without friction or noise.

That covers estimating income tax across major jurisdictions, checking BMI or daily calorie needs, generating a secure password, formatting JSON, and dozens more everyday tasks. The goal is for the answer page to be the only thing on the screen that matters.

Kalcify currently offers over 70 free tools across multiple categories, available in 5 languages (English, German, French, Spanish, and Polish). Our tools span:

Calculator arithmetic runs in your browser. Network lookup tools work differently: they send requests to retrieve information. Local calculation does not mean that the whole page is offline; hosting, analytics, advertising and consent services have separate data flows.

Verified data sources. Our financial tools use official tax brackets and rates from government sources including the IRS (United States), HMRC (United Kingdom), CRA (Canada), and ATO (Australia). Health tools follow World Health Organization (WHO) classifications and established medical formulas. We cite our sources on every tool page.

Regular updates. Tax rates, brackets, and regulations change. Check the year, assumptions and cited sources on the tool you use. A page update date is not a guarantee that every underlying rate has been reviewed; our Methodology explains how those dates are produced.

On ordinary visits to the main site, Kalcify loads Google Analytics 4 for usage measurement, Google AdSense for advertising, and Google Funding Choices for consent choices. Embedded tools and excluded QA sessions do not load these services. Loading an advertising script does not guarantee that an ad appears.

The site configures Google Consent Mode with ad storage, ad user data, ad personalization and analytics storage denied initially in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, and granted initially elsewhere. These are regional defaults, not a worldwide opt-in promise. Loading a Google service can involve network requests even when storage consent is denied.
